Juta Helen Tirona is a freelance illustrator based in the United Kingdom.

During a successful career of 30 years as illustrator and cartoonist Juta Helen have more than hundred books published worldwide and also produced illustrations for advertising, packaging, booklets, brochures, games, cards, logos, magazines and newspapers etc.

As a freelancer Juta Helen worked on everything from animation to cartoons and created comic strips with her own ideas and texts while working as creative editor in chief for children’s magazines and newspapers in Latvia, cooperating with several international advertising companies, such as DDB WORLDWIDE Latvia, Adell Saatchi & Saatchi, Metro Leo Burnett and others.

Juta Helen is working digitally or on paper with pencil and Edding 1800 profipen. To unwind and relax between jobs she is hiking with her twin sons and going on road trips around the world.

Juta Helen is a member of the Association of Illustrators and Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators.
